Use these Butterfly Doubles worksheets to allow students to practise doubling and halving numbers.To complete this worksheet, students solve the doubles problem shown on the butterfly and then write the answer on the flower. Then they halve the numbers shown on the butterfly bodies and draw their double butterfly wings to show half on each wing.Each worksheet has six doubles number sentences to solve and three numbers to halve.There are three versions included, along with two blank templates, so that this task can be easily differentiated for your class:

• Students add the double numbers shown with dots then record their answer in the flower. They use dots to show what half of the shown numbers look like.
• Students solve the doubles addition number sentences and then record their answer in the flower. They use dots to show what half of the shown numbers look like.
• Students solve the doubles multiplication number sentences (x2) and then record their answer in the flower. They use dots to show what half of the shown numbers look like.
