Description

Queen’s Quarters Worksheets provide a fun and interactive way for students to practise modelling quarters of objects and collections. With a royal theme to capture attention, these worksheets allow students to explore fractions through creative and meaningful activities that link mathematical understanding to visual and hands-on learning.

Each worksheet includes three engaging quarter-themed tasks. Students will divide gems to decorate the queen’s crown, work backwards from a known quarter of a flower collection to model the whole, and follow the queen’s instructions to colour her necklace in quarters. These tasks encourage a combination of counting, drawing, and colouring to reinforce equal sharing concepts in different contexts.

Two differentiated templates are provided to ensure flexibility and support for learners at different stages. This no-prep resource is easy to use – simply print and go – making it ideal for whole class lessons, small group activities, or independent work. The queen theme makes fractions fun and accessible, while offering multiple approaches to help students master quarters.
