Description

Looking for a spooky yet skill-building classroom activity? Our Scary Spider Webs: Fine Motor Craft is a hands-on Halloween-themed resource designed to boost fine motor development in a fun and creative way! This engaging activity is perfect for the spooky season and helps students build strength, precision, and coordination while crafting their very own spider web and spider.

To create their spider webs, students thread string through holes punched along the edge of a circular template. The web effect is made by weaving the string back and forth, creating unique and creepy designs. Once the web is complete, students assemble their spiders using twisted pipe cleaners and a printable spider template before attaching them to the web.

This craft supports fine motor development by encouraging students to focus, manipulate materials with care, and practise hand-eye coordination. From threading and twisting to gluing and arranging, each step builds important skills while also creating a standout Halloween display that your students will be proud of.
