Challenge your students’ critical thinking skills in identifying the time that comes before and after the hour, quarter past the hour, and half past the hour.

This activity includes 60 mini task cards that will reinforce the skill of identifying what time comes before and after an hour, quarter past to the hour and half past the hour. For example, if the clock shows 8:00, the time that comes an hour before it is 7:00 and an hour past that is 9:00. The students will write their answer on the blank spaces on each card.

For a small group game, divide your class into 6 groups (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple). Each team will get a set of cards based on their team colour. The first team to correctly answer all the questions on the cards wins the game.

This is a low-prep task card set that is sized to fit in the Kmart rainbow photo storage. It is also suitable for both individual and small group work.
